Right !
In my country (not many black ppl here) black ppl are still called ni**as by white folks and say many bad things about them which I don't wanna say it and Im sure ya'll don't wanna hear ! And I am sayin no lies . Not every country is perfect like US or UK !
Beyonce is a veteran at this point. Gaga is a newer girl on the block. There's no guarantee that Gaga will last as long as Bey has. Fickle pop music can get u top 10 hits n what not. I though Kesha's situation would get yall thinkikg caps on ... Those that think the singles chart are be all end all.
As "global" as yall claim these pop girls, Bey still makes more money than every single one of em.
Because Gaga's white, makes dance music (which is appealing to international crowds), and she wears costumes. In other words, Gaga, as an artist and entertainer, is way more appealing to international audiences.
And Ke$ha makes American pop with a couple electro elements here and there. Nothing she makes is dance music or electro. Her sound is very American and nothing international crowds would want to hear an entire album of. Plus, who actually buys a whole Ke$ha album??
Who gives a fugg, really?? Bey has lasted this long thus far and will remain around in the public eye for a looong time. Chick is going to be like a fine wine.
Again: Mariah? Aretha? Shakira? Rihanna? Prince? Tina? Donna? Diana? I hate when Bey stans bring up race and then ignore the people that aren't white that became global.
Beyonce is more global than EVERYONE you listed though.
And Shakira obviously is not even from America so...
And I'm very proud of Beyoncé for making the decision to create a career that doesn't revolve around it. That is why she will always be more respected and successful when she is 70 years old, unlike the other pop stars who will fade in a few years.
