It's true. Outside the US, the people don't want the "greedy white man" in office.
The world would prefer a BLACK man. That's got to be worth something.
I don't think it's far-fetched to say that celebrities on the level of Obama, Oprah, and Beyoncé suffer minimally from racial prejudice outside the US because they're seen as powerful individuals irrespective of their race.
Now it may be a subconscious factor in some people, but I don't see the world going out of their way to purposely avoid a Beyoncé album because there's a black women on the cover....I mean...it's BEYONCE.
But I do see them dropping that **** once they hear the first track is 1+1 and not Marry The Night.

Bey in the other hand is obviously black, does RNB music ( wich is dead atm), sells her music with her TALENT and nothing else ( instead most of gaga's albums sales camed from her controversial videos and performances). Im not trying to say that Gaga isnt talented, she hella is!!! but people dont know that side of her, what they know the most is her wearing her Outlandish costumes and gimmicks on stage.
Annnnnd could the monsters stop with the ''she is more talented (gaga)" kinda excuses, because she is NOWHERE CLOSE to beyonce's talent, Beyonce is at micheal's level, so yall can have a seat. and i am a gaga stan btw.

ALL OF THIS (Except for beyonce being on the same level as mj which is a reach)
Gaga is WHITE..Makes POP music. and wears Costumes and is controversial the END!
Gaga being bigger also does not mean she's more respect or talented. People are more interested in what gaga's next gimmick will be not what her next record will sound like.

That was a comparison, i did not put beyonce in a higher pedestale, neither i did with micheal, i just stated that beyonce is at micheal jackson's level. if you think otherwise, then name one just ONE popstar who DOES SING AND DANCE perfectly as well as beyonce?

I agree with the last part, but to act like race plays NO factor at all is doing too much.

"The world would prefer a BLACK man." Yeah, right. Is that why there have been so much controversy about Barack's true heritage? Many cultures do not even want to acknowledge that he is indeed a black man.

It was a comparison you made, which was based on your opinion. I did not say you put Beyonce above Michael Jackson. I don't need to name another pop star who can sing and dance to disagree with your opinion. I disagree with your opinion because I've followed both of their careers. She is not on the same level.

Do you remember those group of KKK men who said they were gonna vote for Obama just to show the world how a "monkey" couldn't run America?
Race will always be a factor, point blank.

I am half Asian and lived in the Middle East for my childhood and teenage years. People in the Middle East and Asia as a whole look at white people as superior for some reason. I have Chinese and Japanese friends and they say the same. Being white is considered "beautiful". People would make comments like "she would have been more beautiful if she was white". East Asians are racists to black people. Middle Eastern people treat a white person better than a darker shade person in many aspects of life. It's all influenced by the Western media and Hollywood.
When I used to live in the Middle East. The only black artist that was popular was MJ and no one else. Radio and TV were all about Britney Spears, Backstreet boys and the white crowd. I never knew MJ had a popular sister until I moved to Europe. I never knew there was Destiny's Child or Aretha or Tina Turner or Prince or Diana Ross or Janet while the white crowd were all over TV. From Elvis Presley, to Pavarotti, to Madonna, Britney, and so on.

I never said you did. I said I've followed both of their careers. How can I judge their performance abilities without following some portion of their careers?

I don't even think race really plays much of a factor in Beyonce's case.
I think it's just she has a tenacity to stick with R&B.
As far as I know that genre bar a few songs has never really been much of a seller worldwide maybe at one point in the 90s.
