It's wierd but my blacks fiends are cool if my Mexican friends who are a bit hood, say the n word to them and each other. Reminded me of that time when jlo got allot of v backlash for saying it once in a song. I think it's a hood thing. If your rich and a white Mexican and preppy then it's a problem and you'd get slapped. I'm just saying how it is and if yall get offended by this yall are just not realistic and probably still live with a parent so please don't.

Nope.

It's black people that are allowed to use the n word in their music. I am sure that their music is released and bought by all races and therefore all races will listen to the word. That word will then be sung by each one of those races. The black people then claim that they're the only ones that can sing the word out loud because it's offensive. It's a vicious cycle.

Some people will choose to speak that word. Who's teaching the newborns of 2016 this word, our teachers? doctors?

You have two choices: 1. Everyone is free to sing the word. 2. No one, including black rappers, should use the word.

You cannot sit on the fence and expect us all to lay like lemons and agree with this ludicrous idea that non-blacks can't.

I don't see anything wrong with it either. Use whatever word you want to your heart's content. But there's nothing positive to "reclaim" about that word is my point. And it's also hypocritical for blacks to say only they can use it but none other can. This reflects the foundation of segregation: "X can do Y, but Z can't."

But seriously, think about it. If a white person isn't supposed to use it, why is a black person using it--a word that defiled and degraded their ancestors? They did not fight through their suffrage for their successors to use the same damn words that kept them in slavery. A black person using that word is equivalent to defecating on their graves and legacy.

I missed that point in my post, yes!

Separating its appropriate* use is a positive move, not "blacks can and whites can't". It just starts the race-row again.

Not that it's ever appropriate, but shouldn't be an offense attached for a person singing a song's lyrics. It's music.
