I don't say it nor do I sing along to it. I don't like the word and I'm white.
I understand why black people would be offended but honestly I don't buy this crap about "reclaiming" a word or any of that nonsense. It still has that history, stigma and negative connotations attached to it regardless of who it comes from. I'm pretty sure not all black people would be comfortable getting called the n-word, even if it was coming from another black person. Some black people seem to assume that all black people are fine with it which I don't think is the case and is a bit insensitive. Black people have every right to be offended by it even if another black person says it to them. However I'm not black so maybe I'm mistaken. I just think the world is vile in general.
This! I try not to but sometimes I think I'm at the Madison Square Garden I'm so into my performance and I just say it . But most of the time I try to say "baby"
