Nah, but for real re: your other post, this article may enlighten some of your questions:http://www.vox.com/2016/9/19/1293307...t-trump-brexit
It's super long, but it's basically about White Resentment in the West.

It breaks down two phenomenas that are happening:
- economic anxiety
- cultural anxiety

The alt-right in the US / far-right in Europe are the latter, and they want to champion a Trump win as for their causes (anti-immigration / anti-diversity), but the reality is that the poor whites that caused this loss and handed the win to Trump were the former, the economic anxious whites in the rust belt. A lot of the rust belt whites don't hate immigrants. Many don't even want them deported. They just truly want their wages to rise again and to have better jobs.

Economically anxious voters of all races seemed to side with Trump on this, hoping he'd ease up on other policies and not actually follow-through on his hate speech and just "fix" the economy.
Yes, they're dumb because he's a liar and conman and will only make the economy worse, but the DNC needs to realize and fix how it tackles class politics. They can't even pivot to the center cause this election showed that the public view Democrats as too REGRESSIVE on the economy ( ). 2020 basically needs a smart and charismatic person without any establishment ties to crony capitalists.

Those speeches and portraying her as "in the pockets of Wall Street" really soured her image. The DNC should have changed course. when this became obvious.  |

That's right I forget to look up how Debbie did, no full breakdown in most districts yet but the media said she won by a landslide.
Teflon Deb strikes again

http://hill.cm/eNRu10l | If this is the "leftist party", no wonder Leftists were disillusioned by ugly neoliberalism.

The DNC should have changed course. when this became obvious. | I really don't think the next candidate is going to be a populist. After the Trump scam, they'll want a politician who doesn't lie to them. You know like when Hillary told them that their coal jobs are not coming back and it ended her in those states. It sucks, but the country is too divided atm on issues. Trump is the slap in the face they needed to wake and elect another Obama. I mean I hope Bernie wins in 4 years and I'll work hard for him as I did for Hillary, but I just fear this Trump presidency is overstaying its welcome just out of patriotism unless the DNC and Bernie play dirty and set up some conservative plant like the one that wrecked H.W Bush

The democrats needed a better candidate, but people like Debbie Wasserman Schultz pushed for Hillary so that she could get a nice job in the upcoming Clinton administration.  |

I mean, you'd have to be really, really uneducated to fall for that.

Racism and fear are the main factors here, simply put.
 | I don't think both factors are mutually exclusive. For instance, during the 2008 primaries, Hillary was the champion of the white working class (Ironic ) and she wrecked Obama with that demo. As a result he got bitter but he spoke the gospel nonetheless:

And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations. | And yes those guys are really, really uneducated.  |

		| Honestly, the vast majority of his supporters DO NOT CARE. That's not why they voted for him. To many of his supporters, this was all a big game. Like a football game. They just wanted him to win - for no other reason than to beat Hillary Clinton. That was it - at any cost. All a game. The only thing that will get them to realize the mistake they made is when many of them lose their jobs under a Trump administration. Short of that, they do not care about the impact to the country or to minorities, or gays, or women, or non-Christians, or any other segment of society. It was a game. Their man won. In the simplest terms, that's all they wanted. At any cost. |    |

At the end of the day, even if Clinton had won she would have faced an obstructive senate and house so ultimately I think this loss in a weird way will do the Dems a hell of a lot of good. Only the Republicans can be blamed from this point forward and, as Trump has shown, it's a lot easier to negate than to affirm what's going on in government.
Here's to a potential Dem-lash coming in 2018.

I'm ready.
