In the end something like 60% of mormons voted for Trump while 25% voted for Clinton- but keep in mind those are pretty staggering numbers for mormons who voted 78% for Romney (and 21% for Obama). So the takeaway is that very few actually went blue, a lot just refused to vote for Trump. There's kinda of a stigma in the church that you can't be mormon and a Democrat although church officials constantly state that teachings of the church can fit into various political parties.
I was hoping my state would repeal the death penalty, but looks like the opposition threw a monkey wrench with a slightly different proposition that got people scratching their heads I hope we try again soon and that there's no B proposition, just one about the repeal.
