This is very true. I find these women, and certain minorities (especially White Cubans in Florida), to be disappointing and reprehensible.
Many people shot themselves in the foot with the way that they voted. When we start seeing that the supposed new jobs never come; when the much hyped wall never takes off the ground; when the deportation process for undocumented people becomes an unmanageable mess; and when the elites continue to solidify their grip on the economy (while laughing at the working classes) then they will see that were sold a fraudulent mirage.

Nobody is saying you shouldn't fight for yourself.
Just understand that when you're fighting for this cause, it is far more than just putting on a BLM t-shirt and pumping a "black-power" fist into the air. It's about everything you do being tied back into your race, and understanding that how you present yourself is going to set an example of how others like you are perceived. It's about half the battle being fought inside the classroom and with how you raise your children. It's about climbing the social ladder. It doesn't always have to be so direct and upfront all the time. Sometimes, we have to really do this on our own. Racist people are not just going to stop being racist because you rioted. Build communities, establish financial security, form connections amongst yourselves even when others attempt to tear them down...
People don't understand that, unfortunately, we are in this alone. We shouldn't be seen as inferior, but we are just going to have to work twice as hard until people are forced to accept that we aren't. When they see a growing middle and upper class of blacks, reduction in poverty, and increase in education among blacks, there really won't be an alternative option.
There's just one problem, though. We need both whites and blacks in order to achieve this. Fortunately for us, not every white is racist, and many want us to succeed. So instead of dividing them from yourselves (you'll never understand my position!!), please unite and end this mess once and for all.

No the problem is the assumption BLM isn't doing more than rioting or protesting. They work in the community and with law makers and officials.
People are trying to do things on their own and have been for years with other organizations in Black communities fighting for their people.

I mean, ideally that all sounds fine and dandy and whatnot but it's unrealistic. racism is so deeply embedded in the majority of white america that nothing a person of color can do will make them anything other than what these people already believe them to be. I agree that all sides need to come together in order to fight this, however when the side that has the majority (white people) and all of the power (white people) doesn't believe there is a problem, doesn't want to acknowledge that there is a problem, or blames the problem on the people who are the ones actually suffering from it, HOW are we supposed to unite and fix it?

Well, that's a wonderful thing. It's things like this that will actually lead to change.

But that's the thing. We need to play "nice" and get them to realize that it is a problem. If you force it down them, they are going to react very negatively (see: 2016 election results).

If it did, they didnt help their position voting Trump because white people are hated now more than ever.
Privileged white people were always going to vote Trump because his words and threats and racism/sexism/Islamophobia/homophobia didnt effect them. They have the privilege of ignoring his bigotry and white people will always have that privilege. It just awakened the younger more progressive generation to how racist and sexist this society truly is. Like poor men, women wanted to end rape culture and oppression by speaking of the injustices they face (largely at the hands of men). Poor white people, poc speak about how discriminatory the justice system is, and the lack of opportunities they have compared to you. So damn selfish

Playing nice has been existing for a long time, how long you gonna keep using your inside voice to talk to someone with plugged ears?

Oh definitely
I don't think networks like buzzfeed or MTV necessarily helped with their SJW pandering

I mean, think of the 60's and the 1860's. Those are the two points in American history which saw the most progress for African-Americans. A lot of it was due to help from those who were in power. This time is not much different, the appealing to lawmakers thing is kind of one of the best options at this point.
Of course we can't be helped if we don't say what's up. But we need to play "nice" to those who can help us, not those who are a lost cause.

The amount of white bashing on my timeline from Latino friends who I would never expect, black people, soo many Asians (which also surprises me because they never say anything about racism), lbgt, and even a whole lot of other white people on my timeline is alarming. Like so many white people are dragging other whites in the dirt on my facebook. They are participating in riots and dragging other white family and friends for voting Trump. Its a kii. Donald Trump has turned this country on its head.
Anyone who voted Trump is afraid to admit it because of the hate they will receive. Thats how much bashing is going on. Majority of Americans voted Hillary. Majority of Millennials voted Hillary. Majority of poc voted Hillary. Cant wait for the demographic shift in this country.

That wasn't the only thing that helped them succeed + this time is no different. I'm not telling people that they should stop doing this, but I'm just saying it's not enough.
