Regional difference like this are possibly the best change to the game mechanics in a LONG time, it's the perfect way to curb the Pokédex from getting too big while still adding new options to strategies/competitive play, my ass is shook

I guess Captains are kinda like Gym Leaders in a sense, but instead of battling them in certain towns, they'll ask us to accomplish certain tasks on certains areas .

Not u just editing the standard Ninetales moveset by exchanging Flamethrower with Ice Beam and Toxic with Moonblast ^^
Furthermore, Ice Shards > Ice Beam just for the priority.

I hope its stats will be different so the moveset will become different.

The description for the Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash mention it being much slower but having greater defense and I believe attack. Similar to when mega Pokemon had their description on what stat boost they get. The leak also mentioned stat changes , so for the most part they probably will.
