Pretty much.
But labels won't care that much as they may lose millions in three months but will profit more than enough after the three months to cover any losses. They're not really losing any money (music is free nowadays), they just don't profit as much.
I'm sure labels would rather their music be available for free streaming alongside an official Buy icon on a well-established music distributor than YouTube, Spotify or Tidal. They're both young companies and have less credibility. Apple is HUGE.
Where do Spotify users go after they've discovered a new album they like? Um, I'm thinking Apple's iTunes...
