After Apple Music becomes the most profitable streaming service, and after streaming starts generating more money that downloads ever did, no one will care about what was streamed during those 3 months. Seems a fair deal to me

What makes you so sure? Go back to the Tidal threads from a couple months back. Just because it's Apple doesn't mean people will stick with it and pay $10 a month. People are cheap as hell and Spotify = free while Apple = $10 . Which streaming service do you think people will go to?

Of course they did no label is gonna risk pissing of apple and if apple music succeeds then they're gonna more than make back any money they lost in 3 months.

Plus this is an incentive for labels and artists to push apple music to their fans

Not really, Tidal should've kept prices low and done a long free trial period as well, cuz they have the money to make it without... Apple is gonna cost them a bit of money, but if they had not done the free trial period there wouldn't be as much people to try it out and stick with it after the trial period, Apple is not making any money off of it either, they are not just 'robbing' the artists, it's a sales promotion/marketing stunt
