It wasn't so much who the designer was, or that it was a bracelet, it was moreso how simple, demure, and common looking it was to me.

It's not just to save money - although they helped a great amount during my teaching days! It's about wearing things that aren't even in production anymore. Most of it started out as my mom's and aunt's old clothes from when they were younger and it spread. I like wearing stuff that's old and been through life. 1970s fashion >>>>>> current day. /hippie.

Everyone has different ways they like to spend their money, no biggie  I have a big mix between expensive clothes and stuff I've found at cool thrift shops and stuff I've made myself. Although it also helps that my family runs a clothing store... I haven't purchased a single pair of jeans in 7+ years

YES vintage! Everything back then was so colorful, happy, and feminine. Clothes nowadays are all about showing a ton of skin and dark colors. My mom's old dresses and skirts are the perfect happy medium. And all the old accessories are like Barbie

Busted The only thing I seriously splurge on is concert tickets and pop girl memorabilia. All those CDs and perfumes add up!

I'm going thrifting for some early 1900s styled suits next weekend. It's for our school play, Guys and Dolls  My Band Teacher/Play Director said you can practically get the entire outfit for $20 if you go to a Salvation Army place. I'm really looking forward to it

Honestly, You're Mine probably wasn't the best choice regardless. I'm a Lamb and it still hasn't grown on me as much as I'd like it to. Taken, I stan Rainbow and TAOLG, so I'm probably not the best reflection of what's poppin' but still. At this point, I'd rather Mariah just stick with her traditional signature sounds and not worry about selling. It's useless because no matter what she throws out there I don't think it's going to do that great. Let's face it, she's sitting at the senior citizens table with Madonna, Celine and Cher. They all had great songs their past era that should have gotten more recognition but were all shunned by the GP because of their age. It's a sad to say that in the MUSIC industry youthful trends/gimmicks is more sought after than actual talent.
