Seriously though, it is the truth that the members with substance are being driven away. The number of members who actually offer interesting discussion and perspectives are dwindling for a reason. Sure, atrl will always be around, but it will never match the peak in quality that it was once at. It will likely transform completely into a cesspool full of Twitter stans and essentially rot away into the essence of ignorance. If that is the direction that key individuals want the forum to move in, then alright. Enjoy the silence.

If we didn't have things like "ATRL's Most Addicted" threads, people would probably put a lot more substance in their posts, instead of just cluttering the board will spam crap. Honestly, the disruptive rule needs to be a bit more strict to keep the "quantity over quality" posters in line.

The ATRL member Lil Misty has been delving into my personal life off of ATRL to get revenge on me for getting him banned for 6 months after he posted a picture of me.

Contacting a person I know offline and go to school with, telling them that I'm stalking them, along with constant taunting over it, is just way too far. If the message was read, it could lead to a total disruption in my life outside of the website, possibly leading to physical violence towards me.

While I understand that Lil Misty can be upset about being banned for 6 months and claiming I was "rude" or "mean" to him, messing around with someone's life like this is just too much.

The admins are aware of this issue and working on solution.

There are two possibilities (that I know of) to fix it yourself:

1. Guided access mode. You can access this option by going through Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access. Basically, this will prevent any other applications (in this case, the app store) from popping up without your consent. There will be a pop-up that asks you if you're sure you want to continue. Simply click no.

1. Turning off JavaScript. If you don't use Safari for anything outside of ATRL, then turning off JavaScript would be your best bet and will probably be less annoying. You can disable it by going to Settings > Safari and clicking JavaScript off. Most sites you'd visit on mobile won't be affected by this.

I know it seems like extra work, but ATRL is totally worth it.
