I have a 99.5% in the class and I only have one exam left and the final. I've gotten a 100% on every exam thus far so I basically have to get higher than a 61% on the final to get a 91% as a final grade.
Biology II is going terrible and it's such an easy course. He just does random slides and is like WHAT ARE THESE ORGANISMS?! Like how THE **** am I supposed to know when we never go over it nor mention these organisms. I have a 94% right now but I still have 3 more exams and the final to worry about.
Here's my updated college admissions list. It's really bad and I've honestly been so depressed since last week because of my rejections . I haven't gotten to get any acceptances from my dream schools and I definitely feel like I ****ed up and am not going to get anywhere.
Rank by Choice | Schools I've Applied To | Status |
1. | Stanford University | REJECTED |
2. | Northwestern University | REJECTED |
3. | Duke University | REJECTED |
4. | Harvard College | PENDING |
5. | Dartmouth College | PENDING |
6. | Columbia University | PENDING |
7. | Cornell University | PENDING |
8. | Vanderbilt University | REJECTED |
9. | University of Michigan | PENDING |
10. | Boston University | REJECTED |
11. | Syracuse University | ACCEPTED |
12. | Saint Xavier University | ACCEPTED |
13. | Butler University | ACCEPTED |
14. | Kalamazoo College | ACCEPTED |
15. | Alma College | ACCEPTED |
Also, does ANYONE know when U of M is releasing their decisions? Because I STILL haven't gotten mine and the last day to give decisions is April 1st. Although I hate this state, this school is basically my saving grace since I'm not going to Butler, Alma, St. Xavier, or Kalamazoo College since they only gave me like a $5,000 scholarship. I only have Syracuse but my parents don't want me to go there since it's a party school. If it all goes according to plan, I'll go to U of M and then transfer to another college after a year or two.

Hang in there!!
Remember where you go to school is not the end of the world. At the end of the day, if you excel at the school you attend you'll go far!!
Those are all super competitive schools you've gotten rejected rfom, and you never know - maybe you have something that the other schools might be looking for.
I have a friend who got into U Penn and rejected from Brown. You literally never know. The entire process is a crap shoot. I really know it can be hard to understand when you're going through the process and every rejection feels like an attack on your character and hard work (I felt the exact same), but I promise in a year from now you'll be looking back on this time at the end of your freshman year at your school and laugh about how you stressed over these things.
My PM box is wide open if you want to talk about it at all, and vent!
Any idea what you want to study in college or do as a career yet?
