Billboard would never give us an exact number (or else labels/stans could abuse that and buy in bulks of the max without worrying about going over), but it seems that it's somewhere in the 10-20 range that they cut off.

Britney doesn't compare because she did it in 2000, when the market was in its golden age. Just look at the list of the biggest debuts, the fact that 5/10 of those albums are from 2000 says enough.
Taylor breaking this record 14 years after, when the market is in an all time low to the point in which not a single album has scanned platinum despite being in November already is like selling 2M in the 2000 - hell, even 3M.
Taylor Swift is a BIGGER selling force than Britney has ever been. DEAL.
