But we're not going in circles, you just have a very stubborn stance on your opinion and you aren't looking at it objectively
It doesn't matter whether something is more "useful" because that's not how it works. It's not "being a conformist", it's accepting reality. To change that, all of society would need to change and that's just not feasible, at least not without a LOT of time.
Someone mentioned that entertainers reach more people, this is a key factor in why they get paid more. Should a teacher that educates 150 students really make more money than a pop star who reaches 1 million people? The schools don't even get enough revenue to pay a teacher as much as they deserve.
In an ideal world, yes, certain professions should make more, but this is Earth and we have to come back to reality here.
