I feel Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson and Beyonce kinda fit into the same boat this way. Their stage presence is none other, but when you see their setlist on paper from someone who isn't the gp and has watched some of their performances you basically know what you're getting.
They've perfected their video choreography and that's where they stick to it. I get that it's expected and maybe that's because Madonna doesn't have a really known video dance breakdown comparable to Single Ladies or Thriller but to see Beyonce finally tweak the dance to Crazy In Love for The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and onwards is more exciting to me than basically watching what I've seen since The Beyonce Experience.

Exactly. You know Janet is going to do that medley with Escapade and Alright and When I Think Of You, etc. You know Mariah (who really - I love her to bits - does not have stage presence) is going to hit Dreamlover like second and then the Heartbreaker Remix will pop up soon after...
What's always most upsetting is when an artist you love tours an album and it's more or less a greatest hits show that features three or four new songs. Madonna spoils us in that sense. Body Shop, Heartbreak City, I'm Addicted, Future Lovers, Masterpiece, Sky Fits Heaven, Gone, Nothing Fails (if you like that song) - we're NEVER going to hear these again. But she gives us a wonderful gift when she performs them on the tours for their parent albums. If you're the kind of person who will always be there for new material (I can never see myself NOT caring down the road when an artist I love puts out an album), you want to go and enjoy the artist as they are, not reminisce about what they were.
Plus half of a Madonna show is older material and she can literally switch a dozen past hits for a dozen different ones, and then switch
those for another dozen different one, and we wouldn't feel like we were deprived.

Who are you talking about?
Is it a member with self-proclaimed special talents?
I'm of course referring to talents having to do with oral-based genital worship as well as those in which the anus is a prominent player, in case you didn't catch my drift.
