Actually, Whitney's artistry kind of is tainted. Out of the divas, she gets the least critical acclaim, and while she's respected as a legendary vocalist and pop force, she isn't respected as a musician. Most people only know one or two of her songs. Mariah is a little better off because she writes so much and she has many more hits. Neither of them are on Janet's level, though, let alone Madonna's.
Nothing is "debatable" about Britney v.s. Xtina. Britney was, is and will be more successful than Xtina from the very beginning to the very end. And Nicole trying to "start a discussion" won't change that. Xtina's last solo hit was 10 years ago. She cancelled her tour due to non-existant ticket sales. Those are all facts.
