Britney never did a lot of dates to begin with, if you look at the list provided Britney is on the list of highest grossing tours despite being one of the artists with the least amount of dates on there by comparison. There are only a handful of other artists on there who have less dates than her. Britney has always been a pretty strong touring artist, but her grosses have always suffered because she always did less dates during her tours. Billboard listed her as the 24th biggest touring act of the 2000's and she was the youngest female artist on that list behind only the likes of Celine and Madonna. I don't think I have to prove anything about her being a strong tourer. Most of her tours were completeld before the touring boom (2003/2005-) and most of her tours had less dates than others. She isn't going to have a tour that spans two years and 100+ dates, that was never her MO as an artist.
I would say doing huge tours wasn't something most 90's pop artists did back then though as that was not their focus, album sales were.

To be honest, that's not really fair seeing that most artists don't actually have the demand to actually match the number of dates that she has and sell them out.

I'm sure we could compare Madonna's tour to Gaga's tour. They will probably have a similar amount of dates.
