IDK, she's a showgirl and has a lot of fans and followers, i guess. Since she's not a very great vocalist
Lol, say anything about Gaga but don't say she can't sing . Anyways, people see her because she puts on a great show, she can sing and her whole person attracts people.
She really is a great performer, but there are certain factors that have allowed her to attract a fanbase who will pay a little bit more for concerts than some of her peers, so she can afford very elaborate set pieces and effects because she has enough fans who fill venues without Groupon discounts.
One other thing that's impressive about her is that her touring numbers are not dependent on hit singles. I've seen some artists struggle to sell out two dates in London, and then one year and a few generic singles later they can sell out multiple dates. People say Gaga's popularity has declined, and then she sells out stadiums and makes upwards of $6 million a show. I still hope that she continues to make catchy music, but it must be nice to not have to live from single to single.

Born This Way Ball came off the floppiest album of her career.
I really wasnt shadeing though. BTW, despite underperforming was a huge peak in the beginning. Everyone was so hyped to see what BTW was about. It was her peak, before underperforming the rest of the era.
Because she puts on an entertaining and fun show. The Monster Ball was amazing, and many people would like to see her again after that, I'm guessing.
Also, her "preachy" acceptance message is quite effective - she arguably has a wider audience because of it, even if some of the general public dislike it. I do hope she goes back to The Fame Monster in terms of writing style, one preachy album is enough to secure a fanbase among the underdogs so long as she continues to support them in other ways.
