She really is a great performer, but there are certain factors that have allowed her to attract a fanbase who will pay a little bit more for concerts than some of her peers, so she can afford very elaborate set pieces and effects because she has enough fans who fill venues without Groupon discounts.
One other thing that's impressive about her is that her touring numbers are not dependent on hit singles. I've seen some artists struggle to sell out two dates in London, and then one year and a few generic singles later they can sell out multiple dates. People say Gaga's popularity has declined, and then she sells out stadiums and makes upwards of $6 million a show. I still hope that she continues to make catchy music, but it must be nice to not have to live from single to single.

Isn't that always the case in this forum? Especially when it comes to GaGa.These people are the ones who said she was fading, but she's selling out stadiums, with a supposedly 'flop' album. People hate to be proven wrong in that respect.
