Yes! Sia was not on anyone's radar before Xtina brought her on board. Like all songwriters she's a free agent so she can work with whomever she wants, but you would be delusional to think that working with Xtina didn't open doors for her.

Christina opened no doors for Sia, sorry. She got recognition in 2006 for the fabulous "Breathe Me". She has chosen to be relatively unpopular most of her career, recently deciding to come out and work with more people. Bionic did nothing for all people involved.

Let's be honest here. Sia always was more of an insider tip and invisible for the general public. Christina was the reason she decided to "come out and work with more people". Nobody knew her lesbo ass was existing, until Chrissy called her to record some music with her. To underline that, Christina also gave her the chance to appear as a guest judge on "The Voice" to introduce her to a wider audience.
