Segregation and preference on who you want to bang are totally different playing fields.
What you're saying looks like it would makes sense, but in the end I feel you are veering a negative concept into something far more innocent.
Preferences can be broken. I may prefer red over blue, but that doesn't mean I don't like some things in blue. Racism is consistent. Those who are racist, in my opinion wouldn't back down from their superiority view for anything, and that's where the difference, in my opinion, comes in.
