I find the double standards obnoxious.
Taylor writes about a heartbreak, it's whining; Adele writes about a heartbreak, it's sophisticated.
Taylor writes more than one song about a guy, she needs to let it go; Adele writes essentially an entire album (2 albums?) about one guy, and it's a "masterpiece."
Imagine if Taylor sang Someone Like You; people would hate on her because she was singing about wanting
another boyfriend.
