Greatest Hits albums are usually made for artists who needs to re-ignite their career. Or a retired artist. And Taylor is far from any of them. Maybe in 20 or 30 years from now will be good for a greatest hits album.

Fan voted; but most country fans would vote against Taylor, wouldn't they? Plus Taylor's fansite has been taken down, so voting links weren't as accessible.

Everyone this show is a joke created by American Idol. How could Scotty win new artist otherwise? I've been predicting the winners all night. Whoever performs wins unless your from American Idol in which case you win lol. Last year it was watched by 5 million people alot less than the 16 million the CMA's had lol and Tim will be #1. Its based off of mediabase and Taylor hasn't been around long enough to fully take advantage she will be #1 next decade but this show will probably be gone by then

Toby Keith and then Tim Mcgraw. Its based off radio airplay and nothing else. Mediabase is what tabulated it. So recurrent airplay is very key in this. Its probably the only award given out to someone who deserved it
