I've always been a fan of Rihanna since MOTS. Unlike a lot of her fanbse who calls themselves stans but didn't use her until GGGB when she started ******** in sales.

I could never stan for her though.

-Her vocals are lacking
-Her performance skills are lacking
-She doesn't seem to put much work into her craft
-She doesn't even seem to care about growing as an artist
-Musically she's regressed
-Her albums are good but her recent material has been really generic and she only seems to wants to cater to Top 40 radio and rack up #1s.

She's changed so much. I will always remain a casual fan.

Well, Rihanna was actually the one who got me to start listening to pop music... the tail end of the GGGB era caught my attention (Disturbia, Rehab, Don't Stop The Music). I spent the summer of 2009 getting into some of her other music. Then Russian Roulette and Rated R came out and I LOVED it... If I'd been on twitter/ ATRL back then, I would've stanned for her...

Then she went to Loud, and I didn't like 2/3s of the album and none of the music videos interested me. Then she came out with We Found Love, which I DESPISE; her vocals are good, but the song sounds like a remix, and I hate the video. I'm sure that when Talk That Talk comes out, there'll still be 4-5 songs that I'll like and buy...

So I was a fan early 2009, a stan from late 2009 through 2010, and then just a casual fan from Loud until now.

also, this is random, but no matter how many interviews I've seen or read, no matter how many behind the scenes videos I've seen, no matter how many tweets I've read, I never really see a personality or any original thought...

She won't take a break and she's overexposed. Even if I was to overlook her generic music, mediocre voice and boring performances, I would stll not like her because she just won't go away or shut up for at least a year. She's been out six years and literally EVERY year, she has released an album.

THIS! I mean WFL is probably one of the most generic songs on radio, i usually change the radio station... That and even when she tries to get those #1s, her songs arent even that catchy. I mean i dnt wanna compare but even though its glaringly obvi that katy records those candy songs to climb the charts, but no one can really deny most of them are catchy and can easily stay in your in head all day... with rihanna its not amazing vocals, nothing shockins, and the songs aren't even catchy.

i dont think ill use her next album at all

She needs to tone it down. I mean, look at her performances. She's clearly not a very good performer, and she makes up for it by acting like a total **** onstage. It makes her look really bad. She used to be so elegant.
Otherwise, I love her music and videos, but I will remain a casual fan.

I do like Rihanna but I just don't love her. She gives me good catchy music and some cool vids but nothing more although I'm warming up to her more after the WFL video. I still buy some of her album and will do if she continues to make good music but the thing is I can't relate to her fully as a person and I can't relate too many of her songs.

it wasnt until "Loud" that i was here for riri. before that i just felt she didn't have "IT". #1 singles are amazing, but they're becoming more common than one actually thinks. once i herd a amazingly put together album from her, thats when i joined the navy. now lets see what "Talk That Talk" does

It's hard (for me) to be completely passionate about a musician when they aren't passionate themselves about their music, or at least that is what it seems like. Yes, you want your fave to be be commercially successful, but I wanna stan for a real artist, not just a label pawn.

I'm here for a lot of her singles, mind you, but thinking about how many writers and how much money went into LOUD makes me a little sick.

I think her music has gotten worse. I LOVED RATED R! Not even in one of those typical Rihanna hater ways. She's on her 6th album now and has only given me Umbrella, Russian Roulette and Rude Boy to stan for.

During the LOUD era it also became very evident that she was nothing but a marketed, manufactured "Top 40" 'artist'. Every one of her era's were made specifically to milk some group or something. She's not consistent and goes with whatever will go #1. I feel like she's only here for hits and there is no genuine person behind most of her music.

The main factor that put me off was her voice, but her recent music has fit with it well. I enjoy most of her post-Rated-R singles and collaboration.

Because you were also in the relationship and therefore saw everything that went on between them. PLEASE. and it wasn't easy for either of them to.deal with what happened, remember she was ridiculed as well and pics of her beaten up face all over the internet.

All im saying is that it was hard for both of them and they were both victims at the very least.
