I was pretty much a stan of both her and Bey. I loved her music from the beginning to the Rated R era. However, the Rated R era (although its her best work to date) had a dark edgy look that I just couldn't get into so I downgraded from a BIG fan to just a fan. Anyway, the Rated R era was over and I was ready for some new Riri and then Only Girl came out and I was like  ....I said "okay maybe this will grow on me..." It didn't. Then WMN? came out and I loved that song so much and I was all "YASSS The bitch is back" then the album leaked and I listened to it and I HATED EVERY. SINGLE. SONG except Fading and WMN? (The only 2 songs I bought)...I've grown to like Complicated and LTWYL P2 but it doesn't gets me going like usual...you know? I give her a chance with each era and so far I like POC and the WFL video...as for the song..... But we' ll see.

Can hardly dance. Can hardly sing. Can hardly put on decent performances. The bad girl persona all appears to be contrived. BUT, her music is hot for the most part.
Even though it was an amazing video I still think "We Found Love" is the pits. I'll see what the rest of the album is like but I don't think I can ever actually "stan" for Rihanna. I'll just remain a casual fan of her music.

I been a fan of Rihanna since GGGB & stan(before even knowing what one was) since GGGB:Reloaded. Even through her darkest times with Chris & RATED R I stood by her. I was never one to really care about success. I just wanted Good Music and something I could connect too. I'm not gonna lie, She almost lost me with that rushed generic trash "LOUD". That was really a testing point for me. Then We Found Trash following after was just the extra push that almost made just the Navy Ship ledge. As of now I don't Stan for the way used to. She lost some of that "spark" that made me fall in Love with her. But thanks to Princess Of China(my new favorite song of all time btw) and the WFL Music video. It restored some of my faith in her music & her direction as an artist. I just hope she can continue on the path she's been going so far with this era. I don't think I could survive another LOUD.

Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna... SOS and Unfaithful are what really pulled me in, but those are the only two songs I heard from that album. GGGB dropped and I loved it, but I outgrew it by 2008. Rated R is her best album and I still bump it except for like 3 or 4 tracks. Loud.... I liked a few songs from it. We'll see what she delivers with her 5th album. I like the girl, but something puts me off....

She has no artistic ability, everything she does it manufactured for her to use. She has no opinion of her own in her music, nothing seems real to me anymore, and her hair disgusts me to high levels right now. The music is shallow, obvious, weak, forgettable, generic, and unreal unlike her past music.

She's just basic. I find her music bland, forgettable, and not unique. There is nothing special about her as an artist or as a person, and as a result, she's not on my radar.
