No1curr if it was scripted or not. Let's not act like Britney & MTV/VMAs don't go hand in hand, especially when you want to discuss her impact on Pop Culture. The fact that she even agreed to read it on MTV during the VMAs speaks volumes. Bey has made enough impact to upstage Britney during her own tribute and award on the channel and award show that can be credited for most of Britney's success. Bey clearly has made plenty of impact regardless of how little you believe it to be. And while Bey doesn't hasn't sold as many albums she is just as big as Britney. She gets named dropped just as much, praised for her talents just as much, etc etc. She is a big figure in Pop Culture and a household name that isn't going anywhere.

Delusional. Yea because britney spears would really turn down being asked to introduce an artist, further more beyonce. Britney obviously didn't know what she was going to say before she went on stage to accept her award and introduce her, hence why she was reading off of a teleprompter.
