I can't at people saying that Rihanna will become irrelavent anytime soon...didn't people say that after Pon De Replay??? Didn't they say she would just be a flash in the pan? Didn't they say she was being overexposed during Rated R era where she literally had THE MOST PROMO/EXPOSURE in her whole career?? Didn't they say LOUD would Flop because it came too soon after Rated R and thus she would most certainly be overexposed ??
People have come to expect new music from Rihanna and the public has embraced it with open open arms (10 #1s). There is no indication AT ALL of public backlash for the Rihanna Brand. More imporantly, most of you are ignoring the fact that she is not NEARLY as exposed to the public as say a Gaga or Katy or Beyonce during IASF or Rihanna herself during Rated R. Def Jam and Rihanna have found a formula that works for the Rihanna Brand. New music/new image/ and little promotion. It's a very clever and strategic strategy to be honest. It's the only way she's able to continue popping out new albums/music at a rapid rate WITHOUT being overexposed. She hasn't had a televised interview since May, she hasn't attended an award show since the AMAs and she has yet to promote THIS new album/her new single outside of twitter/facebook. Compare that to the loads of promotion Gaga/Katy have done for their most recent albums! She's not risking overexposure because the general public barely sees her ass

Gal just stop with that mess you can look at the chart section where you can see that Beyoncé sold 1.8mil so far WW and she has sold 800k so far in the US. You're just embarrassing yourself.

First of all Usher is local. Confessions was his rise to Fame. 50% of his discography has underperformed. Beyoncé just hit a bump 10 years into her career. 4 will outsold both HIS & RvsR on a WORLDWIDE scale which matters. 4 will outsell that Versus EP that aint moving any units either, KI.
As far as irrelevancy goes Usher will hit that road before Bey.
