Saying Stripped got her noticed, it did not at all. It definitely gave her a new image, but she received 0 number ones from that album. CA gave her 3 number ones, and a top 3.

There are other places than America. Stripped was huge in the UK and spawned 2 number 1 single's and went 6x platinum (her first album went gold). Its not just about commercial success. Christina pushed boundaries in the Stripped era in terms of the music it self, video's and live performances.

Let's not Christina Aguilera the album had next to no influence. It did really great at the time but it was always overshadowed by Britney's debut in every way possible. There was no such other album to overshadow The Fame and the impact that Gaga had was far greater.
