OK...so you have never seen a big muscle gay or a bear aggressively hit on a straight guy? I have seen that AT LEAST as much as with femmes, and at least with femmes there isn't a physically threatening component!! lol...my point is that feminine behavior =/= personality type. If you are an obnoxious *** who wants to make straight men uncomfortable and not respect other people...then that is who you are REGARDLESS of how masc or femme you are

*I* am responding to the valid point someone mentioned about fem gays opening the gates of acceptance by the *straight* community. My point is valid, bitch.

Welp I dont have a problem with fem guys. I've actually been attracted to a few, but mostly I'd rather have a masculine guy because I could easily get a girl instead.
However the one's who are loud and obnoxious annoy me and Im not really here for the ones who go the extra mile and wear heel, dresses and ****. Drag Queens are not my thing, but I don't knock it and I'm not so above myself that I wouldn't be your friend just because you do what you like to do.

I agree masculine guys hit on straight guys, too. They flirt differently, though. The reaction is different, too. I have nothing against fem guys. I think they're really funny and I have a few friends like that. I actually don't know any masculine gay guy just jet. However, I listen to the comments some straight people do about them, and that's the general consensus. I'm stating FACTS, not an opinion.

I understand what you're saying.
But loud and obnoxious people are annoying whether their flamboyant gay men or not. And drag... that's a whole 'nother story. That's not real life, it's an escape But I think it is beside the point since it's more of a performance/career.

I thought Kerihill was a girl too.
Anywho, I don't have a problem with anyone. Most of the time, effeminate gays are very funny.

They're kinda annoying and over exaggerating. They also make it harder for 'normal' gay kids to come out. Since the stereotype is that hysterical girly gays are like all the gay guys.

Well I obviously have nothing against them cause either way they're gay like me so why would I dislike my own kind? But I wouldn't date a person like that cause that's just simply ain't my cup of tea. I like normal boys

Nothing at all. Maybe, because at times I'm fem so I'm biased, but I don't classify myself as that since I'm more than just that. It's weird that so many gay people are throwing around the word normal in here when I'm sorry (not really) to disappoint a lot of you guys, but the second a man stuck his dick inside of you or vice versa you weren't considered normal by SOME heterosexuals standards. Yes, I know, it comes to a shock that no matter how masculine you come off or how you try to put down fem men that some heterosexuals will still focus on the fact that you're making love to a man, kissing a man, developing a relationship with a man as if it's not the normal thing to do. Because in their eyes it isn't, and for some, it will always be that way.
If a fem man wants to walk around with lip gloss, a Chanel bag in tow, some high heels etc. so be it. It's not harming you or the gay community in any way shape or form. One gay person dressing down for the Gods, does not mean that heterosexuals will automatically start attacking gays. Since that's something that he or she wanted to do from the get-go before Coco and his fem clique strutted down a aisle at Target. And as Hi.Def said straight guys can also be effeminate, it's not limited to just the gays despite what some like to believe.
This discussion also brought up another subject of fems doing the work when it comes to the gay community for the most part because the gays who would prefer to live by heteronormative standards in a way don't do anything. Since they would prefer to not be seen or heard when it comes to anything gay because they feel that the fem gays make them look bad or make it a lost cause. Which isn't true at all, but I guess that's what separates the ones who would rather progress in society from the ones who would just like to blend into the social norm, and have everything stay the same in terms of marriage, equality in the workplace, adoption etc.

How so? If you're a straight-acting gay guy and everyone around you has a perception of gay guys as being feminine, surely it would be easier for them to come out without being judged.
