She has said it was for gay rights yes.
The quote was something like "You're nothing more than the meat on your bones". She tied that with the military getting discharged etc.
But she has contradicted herself several times, its very Lady Gaga like. She has so much she wants to say that somethings it just flies out. She is in the public eye
LIVE more than ANYONE else in the industry. She doesn't set no stupid rule with her label to pre record **** like other artist demand.
One things is for sure, her genuine spirit on the whole matter. She contributes allot to what she preaches on the daily. whether wht she says is true or not it touches someone. I can't believe she talks about working her way up from the bottom when she went to NYU and was writing songs for other artists before she became famous. She's not naturally ugly either. She makes her self unattractive just to relate to her fans.
