Britney got her groove back. 
My only criticism is that they cut away from her dance sequences too abruptly and too often. I don't mind if it's not 100% her, but the choreography is the best part. I could care less about a bunch of sweaty, anonymous people writhing around or cheesy CGI effects.

I kind of disagree. I kind of wish we had a prologue where we saw the world ending and all the chaos. Then have that segue way into the actual music video. I love watching her in the cut away scenes, the one on one close ups are really good because it shows she has her charisma back. Hot orgy-ness is always a plus with Britney it's like a Britney standard (Circus, IS4U). We are going to get a choreography based video anyway that centers on the dancing. I think they did a really great job with this video. I don't think I would change a thing other then to make the establishing shoots a bit longer to see the world ending and the apocalypse bits.

Seriously people, it's not about you and "haters'. People can comment on the one-second double in the video if they want in the thread about the video. And it we want to discuss how amazing her dancing is, if I don't let Ciara get away with that one goddamn backbend and beating her thighs senseless, why not discuss the fact there was one decent move dance-wise in the video (the high-knee lift...which appears to be the double, at least to me) while the other 25 seconds of dancing (someone posted a dance-clip on ONTD of all the dancing in the video) consists of her bouncing with her arms crossed. That's not dancing!
And I still like the video and I still like the song and I'll still comment on issues I have with it.

I don't get the big deal, we've all seen Britney do the whole dance routine during the three TTWE performances we got. We know she can pull it off, so why dwell on the doubles?

Hours ago I was just saying I was looking for a double and put up a pic I saw. The convo after that became "it's the haters hating" so I'll just take the damn blame.

I don't think it's haters hating. People will always have something negative to say about Britney. Instead of people just reducing it to haters, people should address it. Stand-ins are common, especially for re-shoots and sample shots. It doesn't bother me. Having watched the video in HD frame by frame, the girl is in two frames only. If I'm not mistaken, a stand-in was used during 3 too...and there was a double in HIAM.

It just urkes me that other dance artists like Rihanna for example do ZERO choreography in their videos (Only Girl, S&M, etc.) and people praise the hell out of the music videos. Then Britney does a video that's just as good or even better and adds moves in it and people just do nothing, but nit pick at the dancing.

Yup. She tries a video that's different than usual and it's bashed (HIAM). She goes back to what she does best and she's bashed (TTWE...especially from EW). She can't win and I'm fine with that. Nothing anyone says will ever change my support for her, and in fact, it only makes me like her more. People have written her off time and time again and she continues to excel in spite of her detractors. People feel the need to bash Brit as if somehow that'll make their favorites (and this is no pun intended) better. Britney is an artist not like anyone else. Just like many other popular artists. Instead of realizing that fans (and the media) try to create these rivalries that are non-existent. Britney and Christina were pitted against each other for years and the girls are friends; the cycle continues with a batch of new faces in 2011. I'm past it TBH.

But girls, the video has had very good reviews even from some of her haters here on ATRL
Only 2 or 3 haters can't go through their hater asses. I think if she released Toxic today, we would have the same responses by them

Please, stop acting as a whining kid cause it isn't simply about that. 
I didn't say it was "hateful" to point the fact that there is a double in the video. But to exploit by keep implying and saying stuff such as "she uses a double, the video is bad, Britney is over" like MANY were doing, that is indeed pure hate and envy. If you see yourself included in that group, shame on you. Don't count on me to point at you or anyone else though. The deal here is nothing but a case of "if the shoe fits...".

You can be SURE about that. Anyone who's been a Britney fan since her early days knows she won't ever please some people. It's just the way it is.
