I actually listened to the song again on youtube and I think it would actually be a good song if Rihanna was excluded. Her high pitched voice (including her screaming during some lines) kills the song.
I still prefer her music over his, he is extremely overrated and has only a couple of good songs.

About 70% of Miley's songs are perfect to me.
And charts have nothing to do with the quality of the music.
