In addition to this, she has been getting all the televised awards, thus more screen time. There is no way she is losing that Oscar.

Sis made her debut as an actress this year, and had back-to-back punches with Moonlight and Hidden Figures. She is definitely one to watch. I knew she could act ever since i saw this music video years ago:



I love Octavia Spencer to death, but sis got her Oscar, i hope Janelle can pull thru and snatch that nomination.

Yeah Spotlight won only the writing Bafta, no Globe, lost DGA, lost PGA, got snubbed by the editors' guild, and still took Best Picture. It was a...weird year.

And if it doesn't? There have been times where the frontrunner got overtaken because of a late push, word-of-mouth and ignored screeners finally being watched - influencing a change of mind and vote. Anything could happen.
