I generally don't watch a lot of "Oscar films" but I watched Elle last night and it blew me away. Wow. What a stunning performance by Huppert. What a complex story. Incredible.
In the end I didn't watch Passengers and went to see Collateral Beauty for the kiis great to see that still Helen and Kate are able to make something out of their weaker roles. Talent Naomie too, can't wait to see Moonlight

Deadpool getting so much recognition is really atrocious. It is a pure gimmick, and Reynold's campaigning is borderline offensive, him handing out pretentious letters to members It seems like these dumbasses bought his sillyness too
Anyways, hopefully the AMPAS better not step into this high level of lowness
