All singers need to be accustomed to not using the ear piece and if you need a monitor to remember one of your biggest songs that you perform on tour and in vegas .... that's another problem

I think the response to your question is already on the last reply - you even emphasized it. If she mimed it, she'd get more criticized for it.
Hey, she's also human. She probably got caught off guard by what happened. We don't know what's going on inside Mariah's head while it's happening.
I know that she needs to change something if she wants her career saved. It's really up to her if she still wants it. Besides, she's proven herself enough to become a legend in her own right and she can provide for herself and children with All I Want for Christmas Is You.
