Besides the #1 this is a great set!
Like all of these are my faves pretty much, but especially 10 Seconds and Fever
Just Another Day is a bop but don't tell me it doesn't sound like I Can't Decide by Scissor Sisters.

Stargirl is good but I wish they didn't waste the collab on an interlude
I find To The Hilt pretty boring Haunt, Poltergeist and Trainwreck >>
|
Well, the full sing they did together was not exactly... tolerable so I'm glad they ended up with a slay this time around
Poltergeist would probably be my 2nd pick and Trainwreck is v hit-and-miss, kinda enjoyable tho. The other one...

Right, I don't really use them now but both were nice releases, better than expected.

If I'm ever going back to a song from it it's probably TTH too.
Oh and I really love your graphics and your write-ups are so nicely written too
Haven't posted here yet so had to say that & the singles segment was really good.

Thank you, I'm trying my best

I actually had Stargirl in my HMs at one point, but I thought that would be a bit messy. It really is his best song tho, Dalai her power.
Caramel is a bit corny for me. But stan for Corinne!
|
It is messy but that's low-key one of the main reasons why I included it ki and Carmel is a bit corny but slays so much that idc

To be fair, I don't even remember how Party Monster sounds like, I still don't use quite a huge part of his album.

Well yeah, that's why it's actually a good song

|
Stargirl uwzględniłem głównie dlatego, że to ~edgy wybór n ale to wciąż bardzo dobry utwór, czasem i zwięzłe, krótkie rzeczy mogą zachwycać

Stargirl Interlude is okay though I think it's a biT overrated. Probably because I'm not a huge fan of interludes aside from a little handful.
|
He's sort of overrated as a whole but I digress

Stargirl, Love Me In Whatever Way, Caramel, Light Weight - love
I don't really care for JMSN albums as a whole, except for Pricilla, but he does have nice cuts.
|
I haven't actually listened to any of his previous albums but I might check the one you recommend!

Just Another Slay nie jest gorsze od Perfect Illusion, Million Reasons, Hey Girl czy Angel Down

Woo, this is so nicely put, I agree!

Store losing out to Fever But the fact that Fever is also my #2 Wasn't able to get into that Michael album even though I have a friend who really loves it! Ultralight Beam >>>
|
Let Me Fall would probably be my 2nd pick for Laura, the punch of these two sings and Lucky Man, ahh > and tbh for a moment I thought about doing a Store/Fever tie for that place

Good top 10 overall, I like all the sings except 6-8 which I haven't heard. I def need to go back to Love and Hate also, Black Man in a White World was such a bop.
|
m the entire first half is a highlight for me as of rn but the second one has v good sings too, Jessy did that you would like 10 Seconds btw

It kind of does but they're both such nice, fun sings that I don't mind! And poor Kanye.

I love that you stan for Sunny Afternoon too It's basically a montage of the ICC mini. And Something Kinda Crazy is still their best sing
Fever is my fave from Side B too, she really knows how to cater to us straight loving gays
10 Seconds too, 80s music always wins huh
I miss the days when I loved Kanye

Album Tracks #10-1:
Ultralight Beam is alright.
Just Another Day Such an underrated bop. Classic Gaga.
Fever My favorite from Side B, it just has such an amazing sound to it, especially with the chorus (as you mentioned.)

The write-ups are shite but I'm ~a bit drunk and cba to improve them
15. NAO - For All We Know
In late 2016 ~alternative R&B is a bit of a redundant genre. We have all these random girls trying with minimalistic beats and electronic productions trying way too hard to be edgy to mediocre results... but then there's NAO. One would say her music is monotonous and samey - for me she's just found the perfect sound for herself and wants to capitalize on it. In addition to the modern, current sound of the entire record, her music has a slight funky touch to it, making it both more accessible and simply pleasant to listen to. And even with the songs being fairly similar to one another, she always knows what to add to make each one worthwhile: once it's a massive chorus (Bad Blood), sometimes a slower tempo (Blue Wine) or a more throwback type of melody, see the album highlight DYWM. Take all that, add NAO's sweet, distinctive voice and you've got just such a fun record with endless replay value.
14. Tinashe - Nightride
Judging by the best-ofs I've already seen, a lot of you seem to think Nightride was OK but didn't live up to Aquarius. For me it was quite the opposite, Tinashe's official debut album is kind of middling (with few exceptions), so I didn't have high expectations for her sophomore. Initially, I wasn't feeling this either but with each listen I got more and more addicted to it, new tracks kept revealing themselves to me, and there's plenty to enjoy here! The smooth opener, the captivating fan favourite Soul Glitch, Touch Pass, the b0ps in Ride of Your Life's vein or finally my absolute favourite, the intriguing yet sort of mysterious Sunburn - these are all tracks I could replay all over again. It's incredible how authentic she sounds all through the record, especially after a few pretty manufactured and generic singles she released prior to this release. As above, it's a collection of easy-listening great tunes but with slightly more variety.
13. White Lung - Paradise
People are always complaining about how manufactured and "made only for money!!!11one" pop nowadays is but to be fair, this may just as well apply to modern rock. It's an extremely boring, devoid of any emotion and passion genre right now, just look at all those poorly executed ~stadium-anthems-wannabe tracks becoming hits. It obviously does have its advantages though, the more polished melodies can truly elevate some compositions and make them more enjoyable than a lot of older, raw stuff. But what if we took the best of both worlds? White Lung and their vision of Paradise seem to know the right answer. It's a concise, fast-paced record which is both accessible and dynamic, has a current production but also resembles of punk rock tradition. It deliveres punch after a punch after another punch keeping it all hook-y and ear-catching while staying hard enough to make it stand out among many other releases.
