Yup, a lot of people here are not patriotic at all; they even applauded Trump for not paying taxes. Funny that the other day I posted on fb to ask why it didnt bother people that this country has been sold out to Russia and a couple of people unfriended me. lmfao

But I know, I'm being rash. And hasty. Trump's not in office yet. I'm sure the Democratic titans will come out strong against him once he actually starts governing. All I know is that losing all 3 branches of government is a major embarrassment to the platform and I'm starting to see some of the fault is on Obama's affinity to the center.

Do Exit polls accurately reflect unusually high turnout? Because in California, Hillary won white women by 17 points and that's the state that gave her her 2.2m lead (Soon to be 3m+)

Hillarycare definitely played a role their defeat in 94. It didn't pass but a lot of people were angry that a first lady was working on healthcare reform. Plus republicans/conservatives were worried it would make government look efficient and ran against it in 94 along with the other scandals. But it was the healthcare reform that inspired the "Republican Revolution" for the 94 midterms.

There were a lot of things that cost dems in 94 (and even in 10) but most of it had to do with weak turnout from the left and a newly mobilized right.

I think you're overestimating the impact of Hillarycare. To say it inspired the Republican revolution and Newt is a bit of an overstatement seeing as it was clear as day that Hillarycare wouldn't pass during the midterms.
