I am the sole Clinton 'supporter' in my class (there are like 3 others who think she is the lesser of two evils) and I figured that all of the obnoxious Trumpers would be egging me on and gloating all day. Some of them did. It was annoying, but they thought it was in good fun. They don't realize how catastrophic this presidency could be. A few people tried to hate on Hillary.
The weirdest part though, was the fact that soooo many Trump supporters actually were nice about it... Basically everyone had me on suicide watch all day Really, a huge sum of them tried to reason with me and tell me 'it will be alright', 'sorry Hillary lost', 'I know she meant a lot to you', etc. They were quite gracious and wanted me to be unified with them.
Obviously that isn't going to happen and I will continue to disrespect Trump. It's actually kind of sad; all of my interest in politics has evaporated. My American pride is dead. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life . |

I have long mocked "American pride" as I was never sure what everyone was so proud of, but that notion of what it means to be American has been erased and re-written over night well and truly.
Your life will carry on, the democrats will (hopefully next election!

) put up another great candidate, and your interests will be rejuvenated. Today is a day of mourning - but some comes the time of action, and revolution.
It's time to make these Trump supporters care, and understand what they voted for and why. Without understanding them first, there is no hope, and I fear the democrats will continue to ignore Trump supporters. They have to be won over.
