It's doing better because it's the better song . Million Reasons is one of Gaga's best songs since 2011 and I've said it and been saying it since it was released. But I want to be surprised and see A-YO be a hit. That'd be pretty amazing.

The single choice was just decided this evening!

Interscope formalized the news Tuesday night, revealing that it will soon promote the song at pop radio. While not yet explicitly confirmed by Interscope’s radio team, the song will also be pushed at the hot adult contemporary format.

“A-Yo” will serve as the second single from Lady Gaga’s “Joanne.” It is the follow-up to lead effort “Perfect Illusion,” which garnered a tepid reaction — and quickly peaked — at pop and Hot AC.
