GMAYL was a cute video and if I had the stems for the song, I'd take out those fukcing cheerleaders because besides that cringey nonsense it's a fun, peppy song.

People do a little too much on GMAYL in a negative way, the opposite of Living For Love in the latter sense.

Absolutely. I don't mind people saying what they will about the song, which was actually a #1 success here in Canada, but its video seriously ruled.

I love Rebel Heart, but I think the videos it spawned are all three overrated by the fans sometimes. Actually, if we're just talking videos, I'd comfortably take MDNA's trio over RH's any day of the week.

The Confessions videos... as much as I love the album and as absolutely FEROCIOUS as the Hung Up video was... Sorry was kind of cheesy and the tone didn't match the song at all. Get Together was... well, we ALL know what Get Together was... and then Jump with that fright wig. I get that part of it may have to do with what the label is willing to spend and if she's gearing up for a major tour she might not have time to properly conceptualize, shoot, and supervise editing for a video... ugh, imagine a full-fledged video album for Confessions. Let me cry on the inside over that.

Totally. It's so unfortunate that such a monumental album wound up offering such a weak and disposable selection of videos.

What makes it worse is that Confessions had a great visual theme with so much potential for quality imagery.

Agree 100% I loathe GMAYL but the video is one of her best since 00 , that's for sure !

Shooting the video in New York…

Three police cars were continuously driving around the studio and bodyguards were in charge of the security on the set.
Whenever somebody took out a cell phone or camera, they were checking it.
During the whole process, we felt like we were working with the CIA. For instance, whenever we got pictures, they were telling us: “If we find this on the internet, we’ll know it’s coming from you.”

There was also a huge budget ($1.5 million) for the video.
