I mean obviously there should be perspective, the mother's life is more important and shouldn't be jeopardised for an unborn baby. This also applies for if there are defects with the baby, or the mother was raped, etc.

But I do think that having an abortion just because you don't really want a baby is wrong. Just because it isn't a fully fledged human being yet doesn't mean it can just be disregarded. I'd see it like someone killing an animal; obviously they aren't a fully fledged murderer, but I don't think it's a morally good thing to do.

I won't treat anyone differently but yeah.

How about if he did the want child and she didn't? All tho it was proven and determined her giving birth would be safe? She still gets the abortion because she has other plans how is that fair for the father?

Its interesting because I seen discussions in which if there is fine or penalty for abortion than the father should also be included in the fine or penalty but yet he didn't have a choice or a say

no it's not

At the end of the day, it's the woman who is carrying the fetus. Her personal right to autonomy overrides his desire to not be a father, even if the pregnancy occurred on accident.

Its a double standard you have to take up with the courts, not with us. And also dependent upon each person and relationship.

No matter, its still the woman's body and she will do with it as she pleases.

People make mistakes. I'm sure every single one of you has regrets. And IMO, you shouldn't bring a whole other life into the mix, only to **** up their life too, just because you made a mistake. I guess my biggest problem with abortion is that the fetus is still a growing organism which makes it alive. I don't see how it's any different from us except that we have left the womb. In certain cases it's totally acceptable to get one, but in other cases something feels totally wrong about abortion

Pro-choice. I believe it is technically the killing of an innocent life and the thought of it makes me uneasy, but I don't say that it is technically "murder". Calling somebody who has an abortion a murderer is a very malicious thing to say. I'm a male and I would never tell a woman what she can/cannot should/shouldn't do with her body. Nor would I ever judge her for her choice. Any male who has the audacity to do that is pathetic.

If in the future and for whatever reason States issue fines and penalties for abortion should the Father also be penalized for that as well?
