nnnn, not 19 year old gay boys saying the father has a right just as much as the mother in abortion.
Im sorry its the woman choice 100% and I'm here for it.
She suffers through morning sickness.
She swells up around her ankle and knees.
She grows a huge bump in her stomach which causes stretch marks and excess skin.
She has to go through the pain of labor, and be on bed rest before and after the baby is born.
She has to deal with the maternal weight.
This is also why women are usually allowed custody of their baby after divorce.
Yes obviously its best to avoid it and always use a condom or a morning after pill, but unfortunately we cant assure that.
Against it, unless the woman is a victim of rape or has to abort the baby due to life-threatening complications.
Matter of fact, I would say I'm more split on the topic. I don't agree with it but I also don't think the government should have a say in what a woman does with her body. Ultimately, it's her choice. But it does become very disconcerting when you see and hear about women having multiple abortions all the while taking no measures to prevent pregnancy.
How often does that happen though? Why would any woman prefer a potentially invasive procedure over using contraception? Sounds like anti abortion propaganda to me.
I believe that a woman should get an abortion up until a certain point in a fetus's development stage (No late term abortions). After that stage, if they don't want their babies, then they should consider putting their babies up for adoption.
The only exception I'll make to this thinking is to allow late term abortions only if there are harmful (serious or life threatening) circumstances) to the mother, child or both.
It is MY body and nobody, absolutely nobody, will tell me what I can or cannot do. The opinions of males who have no clue what it is like to become unexpectedly pregnant have ZERO value on the decisions that any woman can and should make.
Abortion should be allowed in the cases of serious genetic defects (for moral, economic and general health reasons) or if the pregnancy is the result of a crime, such as rape or sex with a minor.
Other than that, I say no. Just because the babies cannot stand up for themselves doesn't mean they don't have the right to live.
