Apparently someone found rain effects in the files, that can be activated with mods (but it's very glitchy). Perhaps it's a sign it's at least being worked on.

I'm trying a second time, the first time my old PC died.
I'm on baby #3. It's so addictive, and because you cannot work, you end up exploring the game like you normally wouldn't to make money.

But they are saying Sims can get "wet" outside and their clothes get damp and they drip by generating scripts. But puddles generate inside as well, and Sims can become damp.
Suggesting rain is at least on the table, or was.

Do you have a link to the person who made it? No wonder EA blacklisted them from Creator Camps if that's the case.

Ugh I just wish TS4 wasn't so cartoon-like. The light looks amazing, but everything looked a lot more bearable in TS3.

The Sims 3 was VERY cartoon like when it first dropped, but overtime they made it look more realistic. But to me the fact realistic clashed with cartoon-like made it really jarring for me. Like decide on one or the other.

Look at images of Sunset Valley, for example. It was super bright, the rabbit holes and town centre looked like something out of kids to show and the trees were big puffs of green rather than actual trees lmao

I really wish EA would receive some serious competition from another gamemaker that would knock them into shape and force them to start listening to the players and put out more quality material in order to thrive.
