To address your second point, the New York Post mentions how:
I guess sometimes the truly talented don't win Globes. I don't really even care too much that she won the award, but she can't call herself an actress when she only acted once.
I should also add that "actual actors" don't vote for who wins at the Globes. Read about it here. I guess that's that.

SMH you didn't even watch the interview I'm quoting her word for word from the full interview. The clip was edited to make is seem like she is confused.
I haven't seen one credible actor disagree with her win or say that her acting was bad, But I have seen acting legends like Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Taraji say otherwise. Just hush and move along. I don't get what about her personality irks people so much, she was asked basically if she is fake. Please stop being so harsh.

I didn't, but I read her answers in the first post. They're long, drawn-out responses that are really unnecessary.
I would use the word legend loosely there if I were you, but why should anyone disagree? The Globes aren't really that seriously taken. It's a fun award show where actors let loose and get drunk on screen. Besides, it's bad PR to talk negatively about someone else publicly.

However, I will say that she desperately wanted commercial success during ARTPOP, which is why she honestly said that the tracks were designed to be radio hits. You don't say something like that in the moment, not after you spent more than a year creating the album. When the album bombed, the narrative changed. Suddenly she was about the "music, not the bling!"

Nothing says generic dance song like Swine or Aura. I love that for a person who says the don't take her seriously or care for her, you seem to know quite a lot about what she does and says throughout her career. Seems like you might be a secret fan? Wouldn't be the first on ATRL.

I love how serious she always takes her interviews. She really has that artistic insanity and weirdness that most of the artists have. She's clearly a complicated soul

Wow, two loud, noisy songs that slightly deviate from an album full of generic dance songs with tacky lyrics... Good point you made there! Of course I know about her. I follow pop culture holistically. I even stated that I was a casual fan of hers (like I am of virtually all the pop stars) in the new member orientation thread, but that doesn't mean I don't have any criticisms.

Are those her quotes in the first post? Did those words not come out of her mouth? There's nothing ignorant about my comments, because it's my OPINION that she gives unnecessarily long answers that don't go anywhere. Apparently A LOT of people in this thread feel the same way. You might just see what you want to see.

don't think she even cares about making sense. she just wants to sound deep. and if her fans don't get it someone will just make up a theory and the fans will follow that one and call everyone who doesn't agree with it stupid. thats how she runs

THis but at the same time it feels far too much like the time of "complicated soul" she had during the AP era rather than the one during The Fame and it's KILLING me.

Mess at me being the only one here that understood exactly what Gaga meant during this interview
I thought the interview was a fascinating insight into the production of celebrity images and the creation of 'Lady Gaga' in terms of both the audience and the artist. Apparently, I'm the only one

I can't believe this one quote caused this much drama. It's not that deep

This is rich coming from someone who's primary mode of argument is to insult the other person's intelligence

She does say that word for word in the interview, giving your opinions on anything without knowing the full context and matter is ignorant. Her answer was edited in the preview to make her sound confused, it's almost not your fault; but she did say that she is entirely both of them. Explaining a person's identity can get complex. Maybe she needed to elaborate because she is asked about that so many times.

If she said those exact words, then there is nothing ignorant about my opinion. It's an unnecessarily long, drawn-out answer as I've said before. A lot of the times I don't think she actually understands what she says either, or, better yet, she doesn't know how to explain herself sufficiently. There isn't a stream of consistency to her answers.

Nothing says generic dance song more than Dope. Nothing is as generic as the lyrics to Venus or Applause. Nothing says radio smash like Mary Jane Holland. You say you don't take what Gaga says seriously yet take her "all radio hits" as gospel and try to dispel the fact that the album clearly has plenty of songs that would not suit radio at all.

Yes there is, adi's post highlights the fact that you interpreted those quotes out of context and therefore made an ignorant judgment of them.
