She's not eloquent at all, I don't know why she keeps trying. It seemed believable when she had all those costumes hiding up everything but now that the smoke and mirrors are gone she needs to find another way to fool gullible people that thought she was anything more than a bimbo who pretended to be intellectual

She has never been here to cater to what you think she should or shouldn't say or do. This is the Queen of Pop, Jazz and Cable TV after all.

This kind of narrative is usually reserved for people who aren't as successful as they once were, so, yes, I guess she isn't, because the people who do cater to what the public wants and always keep their ears to the ground are usually always on the pulse of pop culture.

Wow, she really isn't doing herself any favours with these interviews, you'd think she would have learned a lesson or two by now

This sort of describes trend-hoppers or people who would do whatever it takes to be commercially successful. I agree, that doesn't sound like Lady Gaga to me either. I'm sure she would appreciate you noticing, Salacious.

She hopped on the EDM sound when it was trending even tho she was a "rock chick" and has been releasing the same lead single ever since, I wonder what would she do if she did whatever it takes to be commercially successful.

It could, but it also describes artists that manipulate and push trends. Forbes recently published an article about Beyoncé pushing culture. That's what I was describing, and that definitely doesn't sound like Gaga to me, so I agree once again.
Speaking of people who would do whatever it takes to be commercially successful, didn't Gaga state that tracks on ARTPOP were all designed to be radio hits?

I dont get it when ppl say this... she's been experimenting with EDM before ARTPOP. She's always done pop dance music from the start regardless of her being a "rock chick". And you do realize labels have a lot to do with single releases right?

You just repeated what I said, she has been recreating the same sound since she began. And right, that's why I don't get why her fans keep acting like she wasn't a puppet in the beginning of her career and as if she didn't ruin everything as soon as she let off the strings, now she'll be handled again so ya'll should just be happy for that.

I thought we couldn't take anything she said seriously as per your earlier comment? And have you heard ARTPOP? Half the tracks are far from radio friendly, but Gaga says what she feels in the moment. That seems to get people mad!

Yes, in summer 2008 EDM was huge... oh no wait, it wasn't at all. In fact no album in the Top 10 best-selling albums in the US or WW for 2008 was EDM or even dance-pop. Try harder, c0caine. Glad to see you in here talking about the Queen of Pop!

I don't, but it seems like you do. Yes, I've listened to the album. It's full of generic dance songs. She's a walking contradiction, which is why we shouldn't take her seriously. However, I will say that she desperately wanted commercial success during ARTPOP, which is why she honestly said that the tracks were designed to be radio hits. You don't say something like that in the moment, not after you spent more than a year creating the album. When the album bombed, the narrative changed. Suddenly she was about the "music, not the bling!"
