Not if we are to believe the spoilers (which have all been correct so far) that an HBO insider posted on Reddit a while ago. The trial by combat never happens but Tommen does supposedly die by the end of the season.

The throne would be up for grabs, and the Tyrells would be the ones closest to the seat, specially if Margaery somehow manages to become pregnant or pretend her child is the king's, like Cersei did.

But more likely than not a new war would erupt and the winner would claim the throne.

That's where Daenerys comes but, at the same time, she can't get pregnant and the Targaryen name dies with her also unless she finds a way to undo her curse.

Quite honestly, I feel like Daenerys' storyline will be similar to Rhaenerya Targaryen's. She'll win sit on the Iron Throne and eventually die.

That point is moot the moment you realize no one cares about King's Landing outside of it. The North is busy fighting each other, and Danaerys has to rally her troops first. The intrigue and fights in KL make the show feel more like a soap opera.

There are also a lot of things in the KL story that barely make sense. How did Jaime and the gold cloaks not know Tommen was inside the sept? Why did the High Sparrow let Margaery off, leaving Loras as his only relevant hostage? Why isn't the army marching on Dorne after what happened to their princess? Aren't there two sandsnakes still roaming in KL?

The Manderlys were mentioned in the previous episode or the one before, so I think they'll be the one to back Jonsa. They did the FreyPie thing in the books so would make sense that they're still fiercely loyal to the Starks.

Cersei is obviously gonna clutch to that throne even if she has to exterminate the Tyrells to do it.

Can they just stop having Daenerys on the show until next season? All she needs to do now is journey to Westeros, so they should stop dragging it out and make the heart grow fonder by missing her.

Cersei doesn't really have that much in the way of assets though, with Lannisters dying or far away. She'll probably be like one of those people who after a breakup is like "if I can't have him no one will" and let KL fall to pieces so no one else can rule.

I hope Sansa kills at least ONE of her enemies.
