I'm really impressed this thread wasn't a lashing towards the US though

If you're going to a US based site what do you expect though?

The rest of France is so polite.

I think most people in this thread who've said Paris are aware that Paris isn't a country, but it's not fair to lump the French in with Parisians. They're two completely different sorts of people.

Austria - I live here and always think that people over here, especially in Vienna are very cranky and rude to tourists.

also, I visited the USA (eastcoast, westcoast), Germany (Berlin) and the UK (London) and people have been incredibly nice there to me!

And Emperor is representing
Honestly most Parisians don't bother, they're some exceptions (like moi) but we're just over tourists and we don't hesitate to show it
And some of you need to go to Italy lmao

Pretty sure any of the Muslim countries where they murder gays, keep and sell slaves and allow the rape and beating up of wives is the "rudest".

Mauritania takes the cake. 20% of the population are slaves (black slaves being traded by Arab slave traders, read about it, racism outside whites exists), and they still carry the death penalty for homosexuality. They also have this wonderful tradition of force-feeding girls against their will all day and all night for years until they're morbidly obese because nomadic men find larger women sexually attractive. I am not kidding.

The fatting is part of marriage preparation that takes place a few weeks before marriage, when the girl is served a lot of sweets with honey and dairy products (thats luxury in Mauritania and many families simply cant afford that, btw), because they think that a girl in traditional wedding clothes looks better when she has fuller body. Its not really forced physically that often, but it can go to such extreme sometimes. Its mostly psychological pressure similar to how girls in western countries force themselves to be on diet or opt to go under the knife of plastic surgeon to look better in their wedding dresses and even develop a deadly eating disorder to fit beauty standards. And still, you will find a lot more morbidly obese women in many western countries even when its frowned upon.

Wonder how many people talk from experiences here and how many are just falling for **** they took from SJWs on net.

Do you mean women are free in the western world ? I like how fatting is part of marriage tradition, but Western world favoring thin girl is forcing girls to be on diet. Oh, well.

Its like that in most cities overflown by tourists, people are just tired of them sometimes. Sadly because the ignorant and annoying tourists get noticed much more often than the polite and kind ones.

You have clearly failed to notice that its a comparison of two similar issues in two different cultures that can occasionally go to extremes, oh well

 Yall are a mess.

Anyway lol, I've been to alot of countries and I can't really say there was a "rude" one but I most deffs found the rudest places I've visited were in Miami and new York city! No smile, no genuine people wanting to get to know you ect. I did however find people in LA to be extremely friendly so the USA isn't all that bad.
