Gen six was pretty and it doesn't go beyond that. B+ for the region and making everything look nice including the characters. Failure in everything else.
I loved a lot of pokemon, but that's something that I attribute to every gen. So I don't feel like its an accomplishment, specially with such a concise number of them.
Why some people treat this children's handheld game like some PC or Console game with vast landscapes and complex characters and storyline is beyond me.
B/W and B2/W2 storyline >>>>>>>>> the rest. I do hope Sun & Moon follows the same path as Gen 5 when it comes to storytelling. Gen 6 really disappointed in that department especially when it had a really interesting plot, but it wasn't executed and integrated in the game well. It felt like it was just there to prolong the game. As someone said, Z (if in fact there was plan for a Z - unless Kalos plays a role in S&M) could've saved the gen.
Gen 6 however has the best set of designed Pokemon.
Also, the challenge mode should've been a permanent aspect of the game post Gen V. That's another thing that I hope they will implement in S&M.
Too bad it ran like ****.
