I value the good graphics, good designs, good Pokemon, addition of the Fairy type, etc. in a good game over the existence of a post game in a bad game.
This is a common argument against XY. While I agree that the lack of a post game experience hurt them, I don't follow this logic because that only matters if you enjoyed the game in the first place.
